YOUR STORY: Paramedics' 'twincesses’ arrive safely

MYSELF and Janelle Norton (both paramedics in Gladstone) are proud to announce the arrival of our "Twincesses" Maycee Meyer Rose Lawson and Rubie Mae Holly Lawson.

They were born July 2, 2015 at the Mater Mother Private Hospital in Brisbane.

After a very hard pregnancy journey for eight months with every imaginable symptom Maycee and Rubie were born at 35 weeks and six days.

Janelle went into labour at 35 weeks and stayed in hospital in Brisbane receiving treatment to try and progress the pregnancy further to give the girls the best chance at life. Janelle made it to 35 weeks and six days.

Maycee and Rubie both spent time in the special care nursery at the Mater Mothers Hospital.

Myself and Janelle are ever so thankful to the amazing Dr Melissa Luckensmeyer for bringing our perfect little family into the world.

Both mum and babies are recovering at home and are doing very well.

Words cannot describe the journey we have travelled to have our girls with us, but they are here now and they are absolutely perfect, we couldn't be more proud.

Maycee and Rubie are baby sisters for Zahra and Bryce.
