Teenager make Park Dangerous Park over the school holidays

On Thursday afternoon a Friend & I took 8 children to The Train Park at Torquay. Ernie Organ Park... It has a new Hamster wheel type activity. We got there at about 1.30pm.. We watched as our kids tried to get a go on the new wheel. Within half an hour we had 4 bleeding & bruised children. Some of these injuries happened while we stood at the wheel. Other peoples children were hurt as well. It seemed the older teenage children had taken over the wheel. When I asked if the smaller kids could have a go I was told, "we were on here first', after trying to reason the fact that they had already been on for ages and it belongs to the public, we wont take long, be fare, etc... I was slammed with a force of verbal abuse. In particular there were 3 bullies. When they started yelling and abusing us approximately 6 older, bigger teenagers moved off the table they were sitting at and joined in on the abuse. These kids were old enough to be doing something more constructive. I removed our kids and thought the teenagers would get sick of the child's wheel. While we waiting an elderly lady with a 2yo grandson & 2 more parents were verbally attacked by these teenagers. The Police were called and the kids scattered. The ring leader of the young kids fled to under the peer and was found. The older teenagers moved to another table at the park... Before the Police arrived the teenagers we noticed, were standing around us, at a distance, but leaning on trees or against swings.
A young girl we spoke to said it was the same the day before. Our Police are not babysitters.
Why can't we take our children to the park over the holidays without being abused? We shouldn't have to fight these untrained, unruly children just to go to the park.. It was so out of control.. I know other parents were abused as well.. It just shouldn't be happening.
Fare go young teenagers, do something your age related. Your a bit old for the Wheel.. And Parents, be aware. You just don't know how bad a day these kids are having... Protect your children at the Train Park.
