Sunshine Coast Daily readers weighed in on the increasing issue of drug driving after Maroochydore police caught the drug drivers during a traffic operation on Saturday.

More people than ever are taking drugs and getting behind the wheel on the Sunshine Coast.

Mike Boucher: Alcohol has a .05 tolerance, giving you the chance to work out if your over the limit or not, but there's no scale or educated time frames to know when to or not to drug drive!

Isaac Frampton: Hmmm tricky as some pre-workout gym powders may even test positive.

Thea Sanfrancis: Just don't take drugs..It's so simple.

Orion Dauncey: Unless you can scientifically prove a substance impairs your ability to drive any laws regarding this are symbolic nonsense and will be seen as such when challenged on these grounds.

Yvonne Jewell: Drugs in general are out of control, and stays in the body for weeks.

Stephen Creak: The government doesn't care about you we are just numbers to them another classic example of revenue raising if you ask me.
