A Photo of the Day by any other name would look as sweet
VOTE FOR TOMORROW'S PHOTO OF THE DAY
LYNNE Schrader was the runner-up in Friday's Photo of the Day poll.
Her image came in just behind Eden Monique-Hull's frosted barbed wire picture with this beautiful image of a rose from her garden.
Lynne described the flower as a Christian Dior hybrid tea rose.
The rose "looks beautiful and has a very slight fragrance", she said.
The image picked up a solid 32% of the vote in Friday's poll.
That put it only a few points behind Eden Monique-Hull's image of frost-coated barbed wire, which picked up 35% of the vote and was Saturday's Photo of the Day.
Photo of the Day celebrates the beauty of the Northern Rivers and the photographic talent of its people.
As well as appearing here it is published on Page 2 of the newspaper and is used as the cover image on our Facebook page.
