AUTHOR Gail Bell has delved into poisons, stood in the firing line and sparked national debate.
Now she's taking on the challenge of meeting you at the Meet The Author High Tea at Ettalong Diggers.
The acclaimed author has written two non-fiction books, travel stories, book reviews, critical essays and long form journalism.
Her first book, The Poison Principle, a "journey through the dark corridors of poison history", won the New South Wales Premier's Literary Award for non-fiction on 2002.
Her second, SHOT: A Personal Response to Guns and Trauma was shortlisted for the Nita Kibble Literary Award.
The third major publication, the Quarterly Essay #18 The Worried Well, attracted strong public response.
