Delegation for China conference

BUNDABERG Regional Council has agreed to send a delegation to an international sister cities conference in China.

The council was responding to an invitation from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to attend the conference because of its sister city ties with Nanning.

The council has decided that Deputy Mayor David Batt and councillors Ross Sommerfeld and Lynne Forgan would attend the conference in Nanning on July 17-21.

All the costs for travel to and from Nanning will be met by the councillors.
