AN extraordinary group of musicians will be touring Australia in May in celebration of the 25th anniversary of when David Bowie's Space Oddity burst onto the world music stage.

The Thin White Duke's band will tour the show A Bowie Celebration: The David Bowie Alumni Tour. With a mix of top hits it will be Bowie friends, playing Bowie music, in true Bowie style.

The tour is headed by Bowie's musical director and longest serving band member Mike Garson. Featured will be world-class musicians who have performed with David over a period of more than 40 years including Gerry Leonard, Carmine Rojas, Mark Plati and drummer John Lee.
