Dance Sport Hits Toowoomba

The countdown is on to the Darling Down's first physie experience! Toowoomba Physie and Dance is gearing up to host the "Toowoomba Interclub" where competitors from clubs in QLD and NSW travel to Toowoomba to compete against one another in this day event.

"This fitness based dance sport is well worth looking into for girls and women of all ages," says teacher Tamara Stiller.

"Many of the physie girls competing are past national champions and place getters. We thought we would bring a physie event to Toowoomba to really showcase what the sport is."

Many of the girls competing have set the goal to work towards state and national competitions which are held later in the year.

To learn more about what physie is you can come along any time on July 18th between 9am to 5pm at Highfields Cultural Centre. $10 tickets available at the door.
