YOUR STORY: Carmen gives rescue animals another shot at love

MY NAME'S Carmen Harris and I have been a foster carer for a few local rescue organisations for over a year now.

I'm located in the Yeppoon/Rockhampton area.

When I started fostering I would take a lot of photos of my foster animals and realised how much it helped with finding them a forever home.

It can be hard for some people who foster to be able to get some nice shots of their foster animals. This makes it harder for potential adoptees to decide who their next fur baby will be.

A photo can show the personality of an animal.

A few months ago I decided to start Carmen Harris Rescue Animal Photography on Facebook.

This is a small hobby page I have to help local rescues and foster carers have good quality photos of their foster animals to advertise with.

I do this in my spare time and I don't charge anything for it and am always willing to help any rescue.

Sometimes I travel to locations and sometimes they will come to me.
